VanWiFi的使用方法为，先在设备的Wi-Fi设置中选择 #VanWiFi/COV-Public/VPL，然后打开浏览器，会自动连接到Wi-Fi条款页面，阅读后点击接受，然后会自动转到VanWiFi主页面，这时设备就已经联网了。

• 温哥华yaletown的范围，一个太阳能手机充电站也在该区启用(在the keg的门口，1011 Mainland St)，但要用自己的充电线。 
使用者不必提供任何个人信息，勿毋需密码，完全免费连接，只要搜索到“Yaletown Free Wifi”直接确认连接即可。

从北温Lonsdale Quay到Waterfront Station的seabus有Shaw的免费wifi。
Shaw的用户，上船后会自动联网。如果不是，从WiFi列表选择“Shaw Guest”就可以直接连接。
加拿大国庆其间Jun 26~July 3有Shaw的免费wifi。

② 素里市与Shaw合作，Shaw go wifi在素里市超过40个公共场所复盖。shawopen有8万多个hotspot了，大多数公共场合都有了。
地点包括Cloverdale Fairgrounds、Fraser Heights Recreation Centre、Guildford图书馆、Guildford Recreation Centre、North Surrey Recreation Centre、South Surrey Recreation Centre，及Surrey Arts Centre。
